Today we made a chocolate cake. It's was without flour. Because of coronavirus, we could just stay at home, so we need to do somethings that we won't be so bored. The chocolate cake was very easy to make. You just need to use some chocolate chip, butter, sugar, eggs and mixed them together. We also add some toasted nuts at the top of the cake, it was delicious! This is the cake with the nut on top of it. This is our final product. It was delicious but it was a little too sweet. I hope next time we can make ice cream.

In the Spring Break, we went to many canyon. Because of coronavirus so many people suggests us not to go, but my mom think it’s Ok so we still went to many place. In the air plain my mom insisted we need to wear mask, but my sister and I don’t want to wear mask because it’s seem strange, nobody wear mask. We went to grant canyon, the weather was very bad, so we all feel very cold. We also went to horse shoe band, there is very beautiful, we also canoeing there, but I fall into the river😕. In the end of the trip we went to Zion National park, it’s was my favorite part of this trip. Because we ride horse there. On the first day we ride one hours horse, my sister and I very like to ride horses, so on the second day we said we want to ride three hours horses. Now is April, after two months we will go back to Taiwan. My sister has made many slime in Taiwan, today we make three slimes. It is very simple you just need to use glue and Sta-flo and mixed them together, Sta-flo is a kind of liquid starch. We made three slimes because we have one cousin in Taiwan, and my sister and I very miss her, so we decide to make three slimes and bring them back to Taiwan and play together.  This slime is mine, at first I put purple food colors in my slime, but it becomes light blue, I don’t know why.   This is my sisters slime. This is my cousin slime. I hope we can play together when we went back to Taiwan.

Today teacher post a picture and let us creat a story. I creat one story about nest I think it was fun.  This is the picture. My story: There is a big tree in the village, this tree is hundred years old and very very tall. One day an eagle mother is about to lay eggs. She flew to this village and saw the big tree in the middle of the village. This tree had strong branches, green leaves and ruddy fruits so she immediately decided to build a nest in this big tree. Building a nest is a lot of hard work, she flew all over the place and found many tin branches and dry leaves, and used the mud to build them together. Her nest is at the top of this tree, it’s very sturdy. When she finished building the nest, she felt very proud and very tired. She sits in the nest and about to lay eggs. One, two, three, four and five, she totally has five eggs! But after she laid eggs she was very hungry so she put some leaves on the eggs to hide them, then she carefully looked over and saw nobody was goi...

Because of coronavirus many schools closed for a long time, my school closed too. At first, I was very happy because I think I can stay at home all day and don't need to go to school. But when many days pass I start to feel boring. The first reason is that every teacher posts a lot of homework and I can't finish all of it, though my mom said that we weren't go back to school again so I don't need to do homework because I won't see my teachers again. But I still need to do because if I didn't do I will have a low grade. I rather go to school than stay at home and doing a lot of homework. The second reason is that we can't go out, all days stay at home is really really boring, today even the park closed. I want to go out with my mom to buy something but my mom doesn't let me go out she is too worried about coronavirus. I hope the school can open quickly. The happy thing is that many flowers in the park blossom. Spring is coming!

December 24th  On the first day of Disney, our family went to the Epcot theme park. When we entered the entrance, we saw a big ball, which is the representative of the future world.  There is an area in that theme park with buildings from many countries.  There are restaurants selling food from that country. We had lunch at a Japanese restaurant  .  In the future world, we went to an ecological education ride called Living with the Land. It was for us to see a lot of ecological environment and some advanced agricultural technology on the boat. There we also saw Mickey-shaped pumpkins. Mom said this ride are educational.  Our whole family loves Living With The Land this ride.
