Nest Story
There is a big tree in the village, this tree is hundred years old and very very tall. One day an eagle mother is about to lay eggs. She flew to this village and saw the big tree in the middle of the village. This tree had strong branches, green leaves and ruddy fruits so she immediately decided to build a nest in this big tree. Building a nest is a lot of hard work, she flew all over the place and found many tin branches and dry leaves, and used the mud to build them together. Her nest is at the top of this tree, it’s very sturdy. When she finished building the nest, she felt very proud and very tired. She sits in the nest and about to lay eggs. One, two, three, four and five, she totally has five eggs! But after she laid eggs she was very hungry so she put some leaves on the eggs to hide them, then she carefully looked over and saw nobody was going to break the eggs, after that she went out and went to find some food to eat. She soared over the trees and looked for ripe fruits to eat. Finally she saw a big red fruit growing on the tree on the other side of the village. She quickly plucked it and tasted it a little pieces. It was delicious! When she was almost back to the nest a strong wind blew over, and then when she flew to the nest to check if the egg was still there, she searched all over the nest and just one little egg at the very bottom of the nest. She looks around, nobody is around them. The eagle mom is very sad, but she still hatches this egg very carefully.
Many days past, crack, crack, crack the eggs finally hatched. Wow this was a very small baby, he has a little black fur on his body, his eyes are still tightly closed, he has a very small body, as small as one leaves in the nest, eagles mom wondered why this baby was so small, he didn't look like the usual eagle baby. But because the eagle mom hatched this egg for many days so she still loves this small baby very much and takes care of the baby. Many days pass and it is time for the baby to learn to fly. So the eagle mom starts teaching the small baby how to fly, but every time the eagle mom puts the baby at the top of the tree and tells him to fly down, the baby always plummets to the ground. After many times, eagle mom start to doubt that this baby is not her baby, it is not even an eagle. Eagle mom thinks it’s time for this baby to be independent, but she was still worried about this small baby. So the eagle mom flew to the other tree to observe her baby. At one night, the small baby plummets to the ground again, eagle mom is very worried about him so she flies down the tree, but at this time, eagle mom saw a hen walking to the small baby and used her beak to pick him up. Now the eagle mom is more curious. What happened? If the small baby is the hen’s baby, and where is my baby? So the eagle mom decided to follow this hen to find out where her baby was. In the night, there was no voice. The hen carries the small baby walk on the ground, eagle mom flies high in the sky slowly following them, moonlight shines on the hen and small baby. When the hen walked nearly thirty minutes, they arrived at one farm. The farm is dark but lively, there were many animals, pigs snoring, cows talking to each other, ships running around, and roosters colk a doodle doo. When the eagle mom arrived at the chicken coop, she was very surprised, guess what? She saw two eagle babies sleeping on the straw, two playing in the mud and one hide under the hen. Eagle mom is very awed, she quickly went to find the hen. “That is my baby, why are they here?”eagle mom said. “ I don’t know, one day I came back and I found that five egg on the straw, and my one egg in the cotton disappeared.”hen said to the eagle mom. So the hen’s egg and eagle mom’s egg change, what happened? The eagle mom said thanks to the hen for taking care of her baby, and promised that she won’t eat the chick again. One little witch hides behind them and smiles. Finally, we realized that the little witch did it, she is very naughty and wants to see hen and eagle become friends so she changes their eggs. Ever since, hen and eagle become friends and take care of each other’s babies.
